Good morning Yal! (you are loved)

I’ve been meditating on the fruits of the spirit as proclaimed in Galatians  5:22 but the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. There is no law against these things!  So I was thinking that since my audience name is actually YOU ARE LOVED, I figured that maybe we should start there before we go any farther.  The truth of the matter is that I never really had real victory in my life until I realized that I was not working FOR love I was working FROM love.

I’ve heard some teachers preach on the fruits of the spirit as bookended between love and self-control.  So, it got me thinking of the passage in the prophet Ezekiel 36:26 and i will give  you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you.  I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. 27 and I will put my spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.  When we gave our life to Christ, no matter what age it was or how immature your faith was at the time of receiving your salvation- that moment the Holy Spirit entered you.  Also in that moment your stony, hard heart became fleshy and receptive.  Maybe you had an emotional encounter/reaction and maybe you didn’t.  Feelings and emotions aren’t facts, they are just indicators.   That’s also why it is important to know what the facts/truth is.  Remember, it’s the truth of God that sets men free.  If you do not know who you are and how powerful you are and how fully loved you are you will constantly be ‘hustling’ for your worth.

Read Ephesians 1 and see what God says about you.  You are adopted, redeemed, forgiven through the blood of Christ.  You are chosen and sealed by God  and are alive with Christ!  Folks, you will never be more loved than you are right now! you also won’t be loved any less than right now!  God is not surprised by you, he knew all of what you would do past, present and future and He still calls you Beloved!!!! you’re loved completely, walk in it! take it with you and share it with everyone you meet! In whatever capacity that is for you today!
